I have a 15 tradesman that ive been having this issue with since I bought it. Sometimes the interior dome and map lights turn on and sometimes they dont? doesnt matter which door is being opened. Anyone have any input on this?

just to update folks who might be looking for the solution... I believe I found the problem to be the fact that a previous owner put an LED dome light in the truck and the Can bus system in the vehicle is intermittently seeing it. I have done some searching on the web and found a number of people have had the same results as me after switching to led interior bulbs. I intend on going back to a stock dome light bulb

 

So just as a followup, installing regular bulbs in the interior map and dome lights corrected the issue.
