No Start, No Crank, U0100
U0100, IPC constantly indicating an overheated engine, even though the engine can't start and coolant temp is around 50F
Radio displays: Anti theft code. "Code error, please restart".
2017 Ram 1500, 5.7L
Tested all relays including ASD relay, all are functional;
Tested all fuses, all are good;
Bypassed the start relay, to test the starter. Starter cranks. Had ignition key placed in run mode, cranked the starter
via fuse box, engine would crank but not start.
The CanBus is functioning, 61ohms measured across OBD2 connector pins 6 and 14;
5volt reference is present (back probed) at cam censor, MAF censor and at PCM.
Measured 12v at PCM connector C1, pins 80, 81, 82, and 84, further indicating all relays are working.
Measured good ground connection at C1 pin 52 and 53.
Measured good ground at OBD2 connector pin 4 and 5.
Measured 12v at OBD2 connector pin 16.
Measured Can Hi 2.44v relative to ground at C1 connector pin 57.
Can Lo 2.33v relative to ground at C1 connector pin 33.
PCM does not communicate, U0100.
OBD2 scan tool can't communicate with PCM.
Does this mean I have a dead PCM ?
