Default No start, no PRND on the dash

Hello,

I’ve just replaced my 5.7 hemi in the 2011 1500 with a used 5.7 from a 2014 1500. Once I turned the key. Almost all warning lights are on, no lights on the PRND at all.

Used the manual shifter release and cycled through all direction. Still will not select a position on the dash

Jumped the starter relay and got engine to crank no problem but can not get it to crank or start on the key.

I have cleaned all the ground connections.

My code reader will not connect..

any suggestions?

there were changes to the electronics in 2013, I believe. If what you put in was stripped of all electronics and used all of the original stuff then you probably have some sort of connection issue. No USB is the first thing you need to resolve.

Used all sensors and electronics on the 2014 engine only swapped the crank position sensor has it had a different connector.

I think there is incompatibility with the 2014 electronics. Try to use the original ones if possible. Ram made a bunch of changes in 2013

Go under the dash and see if there is any wire connectors unplugged.
