Noid light. You *should* be able to rent them from your local parts store. (the ones around here have 'em.) Or, I think harbor freight sells a cheap set as well. (less than 30 bucks.) They should work for both coil, and injector connectors.

With the noid light plugged into the connectors, they should be flashing consistently with engine running. (likely will set codes, and the cylinder will NOT be firing..... the lights will instead.)

Pcm is working. Ran a compression test since it was suggested by a friend of mine since we works in Colorado and Cylinder 6 psi is 40 psi too low. Thank you for the help

Do a leakdown test, if you have the gauges/air compressor. That will tell you where the compression is going. Aside from that, using a bore scope to have a look inside the cylinder might be enlightening as well. (don't know if you can rent one, but, they aren't hideously expensive for a decent one.) Might be a broken valve spring, dropped seat, or worn cam lobe..... among other things.

True. I'll have to get with the family mechanic to take a look he has way more tools and knowledge on where to look than I do. But time to liquidate a few inventory and save up just in case and work more oil changes on the side. Thanks again for the help

It's in my dream truck that I got for a steal. It's an investment to a better truck. It will be worth it. Especially when I move to better state. Thanks again
