Default 2022 2500 limited - hate it

I just purchased a Ram 2500 Limited and I hate it. The back up sensors sense my receiver hitch and stop you from backing up to a trailer? Does Ram not want you pulling a trailer? I have the two center back up sensors disconnected right now and that has put a band aid on it for now but there has to be a way to fix right. With the sensors unplugged you have no back up warning.
I also have the air suspension and it rides very rough, just bounces alot in the rear end. Is there a way to fix this maybe change the air pressure setting? Right now I have it in towing mode (like its being towed) and that has allowed me to drop the air like your hooking up to a trailer and I am driving this way, but there has to be a better way.
Also the seats are so uncomfortable, does anyone know of an aftermarket seat that can be purchased?

over all I am just very unhappy with an $85,000 truck. I had a Ford F250 Platinum and it was much more comfortable and I could keep the receiver hitch in it. Overall I just hate this truck

If you don't like it, take it back. I think legally you get 20 days to return it, and void the contract..... The dealer will NOT like that, and will fight it tooth and nail though.

I am looking at trading it in on a GMC. The Ram is just a very poorly built truck. Way to many issues for a $85,000 truck

If you wanna throw away 20 grand or so, knock yourself out. You are not going to get anywhere near payoff on a trade-in. If you can afford to throw away that kind of money, go for it, otherwise, you might want to consider other options...

Did you not take the truck out for a test drive before you bought it? There is a button to disable your rear parking sensors ya know. Can't help you on the air suspension issue but I'm willing to bet it's a simple fix that you're not aware of. Maybe you need a 1500 instead of a 2500.

Didn't you test drive it?

yes I am aware of the disable button on the dash for the back up sensors but what is the point on putting back up sensors on the truck if they have to be disabled? Ford GMC or Chevy does not do that... its seams a waste of money.

I did take it to several dealers and I am looking at loosing $13-16,000 Guess RAM does not hold their value?

I am just sour over the whole deal because I expected more out of RAM and I am just very let down. I found out today there is no lift kit for the RAM AIR suspension unless you want to take it up 5". I wanted to do something so people will stop asking me if its a 2 wheel or 4 wheel drive.... what a sissy truck.

ANY new vehicle drops 10 to 25 percent in value the moment you sign the papers, and drive it off the lot. That is not unique to Dodge.

And the rear collision warning system works different. That shouldn't really be a shocker either. Now, I will grant you, just having your hitch on there causing the system fits, is WAY too sensitive. Think going to your nearest dealer, finding another truck that is similar, plugging your hitch into it, and seeing if it does the same thing, would be an interesting experiment to try.

I think I can speak for the entire Ram community when I say, please leave the Ram community and join someone else to complain about as I'm certain that will be the case wherever you go. My first truck was a Chevy and I will never own another. Second was a 2nd gen Ram and now my current is a 4th gen. I love/loved both Rams and it is far and above the Chevy I had.
