Default 2012 RAM 1500 cylinder 5 miss fire

Morning,

Engine light came on. I took it to a shop to have the code read. Which told me cylinder 5 was miss firing. The truck still drives good just the engine light is on.

1st The plugs and coil where changed. still same problem.

2nd. Had PCV valve and the fuel injector changed. still same problem.

The dealership removed the valve cover and inspected the internals. The a roller spun and got a flat spot and wore the lobe off he camshaft.

The truck still runs fine.

Any suggestions on fixing the issue???

So basically replace the cam shaft and the lifters which would be cheaper then replacing the whole engine. I found a few kits for less then $1,000.00 then when you put labor it would be less then a $2,500.00 fix. Question because building vechiels is a bit different then building Harley's. Any suggestions on making sure I have the right kit?
