On my 2019 Ram Classic I have a head gasket leaking anti-freeze. How much can I expect to pay to have it replaced? 5.7

 

Depends on labor rates in your area......

 

Average will run you about 1500 but as stated above it varies per area. Its not super difficult to do your self with some mechanical knowledge just get bolt sequence and torque specs. Having an extra hand to lift the head and set it back down makes it easier without having a hoist or chain drop.

 

Thank you for replying but at my age I will take it to a dealer. This truck has been a nightmare brakes & rotors all around with two calipers and now a head gasket with only 35000 miles on it. I have been driving Dodge trucks since the 70's and never had this many problems .

 

The dealer is putting a new head on it for free under drive train warrenty.

 

They wont have the head until end of August and now the exhaust manifold is leaking.
