My 2012 Ram will not start while in park position . I can pull shift lever into neutral and it will. On occasion I can pull it out of park and push shifter back into park and it will. This happens from time to time with no obvious pattern as to weather conditions or on an uphill or down hill grade. Sometimes it will go for months and no problem but it also may happen a couple times in one week. Anyone else have this issue and what can be done to fix it ? Thanks

 

Linkage adjustment, slop in the linkage, or failing range sensor.
