Default Starting Issue

Went out to start my 2014 Ram 1500 Big Horn and all I got was a click then nothing. Checked battery connections ( Good ) Check the date on battery ( 1 yr 6 months old ) Tried the key again and just a click? Radio, dash etc. everything seemed to be working fine so I turned on the headlights and tried the key...and just a click but the lights stayed on, so I figured the battery was good. Now pissed, I turned the key on off on off on and the truck started??? Turned it off, tried it again and just a click, on off on off on and it started again. So off I went, stopped at a couple places and it started fine every time. What would cause it to act up? Relay? Starter?

Possibly either. Don't know if the relay is replaceable in yours though...

Thanks for your reply, Are you saying that my truck may not have a relay? How would I know if the relay is replaceable or not?

Go to an auto parts store and get you battery load tested before you start throwing parts at it. Without voltage checks you're just guessing.
