Default Audio

I got 2016 ram 1500 express 5.7l 5in radio no idea on alternator size if you know lmk but I was told if I upgrade it won’t matter I’ll still get the same amps as the stock since the pcm controls the regulator any input I need about 190amps for my audio

Looks like they came with anything from 160 to 220 amps. Need to have a look at yours, and see what ya got. No point spending money on something you don't need.

Default I’ll need more amps or amp hours no matter what

I’ll be running a 5k or 8k minimum draw is 200 amps so I’ll need one or the other but I tried finding a part number but couldn’t I’ll have to take it off I guess

Should be a label on it somewhere.... *usually* they are right on top..... but hey, ya just never know.

Pulling a build sheet for your truck might tell you as well.
