Has anyone found delrin control arm bushings?

I'm planning a 2/4 lower and a refresh of the suspension. That includes replacing the control arms. I can't find anything beside rubber CA bushings. Has anyone come across delrin bushings? I thought of poly as well, but I don't think they last as long. Though poly isn't out of the question. The one place that has them only does the kit in a 3/5 and that is too low for me. They're the only ones that I can find that does tube lower CAs too 😕 I'd even be fine with a bushing specific rebuild kit and replacing them on the new CAs.

My plan is to start taking her to the track and dragging as well. She's had her entire intake and exhaust upgraded. Long tube ceramic headers and programmer from Hemifever included (I booked some dyno pulls beginning of Dec finally). I have plans to put in MSD coils. Down the road also cam her and ported heads when I do that. She'll be apart anyway.

Don't the new control arms come with bushings already installed???

That said, poly bushings will last quite a while, lube them up when you install 'em, and then don't worry about 'em. Delrin is still a *relatively* new material, and I haven't seen many applications for suspension bushings with it at all. Probably because it is stiffer than poly, so, your ride quality suffers.

They do come with pre installed. They're rubber everywhere I looked though. That said, I can get them out and put a new one in. I've done it once already when I changed out the shocks some years ago. The bolt had seized inside the lower bushing and I needed it disconnected to drop the shock. It wasn't super easy, but wasn't super hard either. Just takes some "dedication" to the cause.

I can't find any poly through my usual places (Summit, Jegs and a few others I usually use) and only the place that does 3/5 kit only does delrin. They said they do them on all their kits though.

Have a chat with the folks that make the kits, see if their bushings will work as stock replacements.....
