Default Any success stories with LED headlight upgrade?

I have a 2017 Ram 2500 Laramie with projector headlights. I'd like to explore upgrading lighting to LED for high, low and fog. Would love to hear any success stories (or horror stories) from anyone else who has done this. Good brands, bad brands, features to look for, etc.

I see this 'LASFIT' user/sponsor posts here regularly about the topic but I've never seen a review or even anyone else mention them. There are just not many threads on the topic at least not for the last 3-4 months either.

I would think that Projectors would be better than anything else, but I tried LED's from AUX Beam and they did okay when on (No Flicks) and then they would not shut off when the lights were turned off they just went to a lower brightness and flickered until they ran out of storwed power. I tried the non-flick harnesses AB offered but it didn't help. I also see that the light is uncontrolled (beam wise) and while a nice bright white was just blinding to other drivers. I tried some of the Phillips High end regular halogen bulbs that were rated to be 5-6K level of white, but they weren't even close. The LED's really had no High Beam brightness or further reach as well. I'm contemplating HID bulbs next but am going to see if any others have gone that route yet as well.
