I have a 17 Ram QC 4x4 5.7 hemi I have been reading about all kinds of engine problems relating to the hemi tick, I have been running synthetic 5w20 since my first oil change and have been changing oil at 7500kms (4600 miles) would changing to a heavier oil give this engine a longer life? A buddy of mine just had to do a full replacement of his 2015 hemi but he was running conventional oil and going 16000kms between changes. What is the general consensus?
