Have my neighbors 2017 ram reg Cab 5.7 I replaced bcm, drivers door module and the windows only roll down once and up after undoing the battery I notice some bare spots at the plug so decided best way to eliminate the chance of corrosion in the connector was tp clip and used heat shrink but connectors now it goes up and down but after a few mins of sitting they stop working when up until I unhook the battery any suggestions before this ram goes up in smoke from an accidentally gas rag gets left in it and literally a will drop cigarette beside the rag and walk away we are lost on wtf it could be

I don't have wiring diagrams for anything that new..... I suspect that the switches merely suggest to a computer somewhere, that you want the windows to move......

 

also already have replace master switch, suggestions on what all controls the windows

 

I can't find wiring diagrams for anything fourth gen..... I *think* the master switch just gets a five volt signal from the PCM, (or BCM) and modifies the signal to suggest which window you want to do what..... Why they would work after a reset, but, only temporarily, is a mystery to me. Gonna need a scanner that can talk to the various systems, and see what they think is going on....
