Default P0420 - Cat or Sensor?

My 2011 Ram 1500 (Hemi) just crossed 201,000 miles. I had the usual cam failure at 165,000 and it's been consuming a bit of oil (1 qt per 1,000 on 5-20; 1/2 quart per 1,000 on 10-40 high mileage).

To prevent just throwing parts at it.... change sensor first,or go straight to catalytic?

Could be either. Think I would start by swapping the sensor first though. (cheaper....) NTK or Denso sensors only please.

That was going to be my next question, if the hemi controller is as picky as JTEC on the dakota....

Cleared the code when i left the house this morning, it instantly went back into pending, but never lit the light all day.

Picked up an NTK on the way home and put it in tonight, and cleared codes again. Still shows as pending, but I didn't start it. See what it does tomorrow.

PS... Sensor lists at $91, Retails at $55 and my cost at O'Reilly's was $33. Sure is nice having the shop discount.
