Hey fellas, I bought a 2012 Dodge ram that needs an engine, severe Rod knock. What years will fit this truck as a direct swap of the hemi. I’ve been told 09 through 12 is direct . Are earlier years or later years not interchangeable? I understand 13 and up is electronic power steering any input on this is greatly appreciated. finding out also that these engines bring huge money. It’s a little tough spending $3000 and up on a 12 year old ram pickup. Can’t wait to read the feedback. Thanks again.

Any Ram 5.7 09-present. Just ensure you use your year crank sensor. Avoid car engines because their cam is different (there's a reason for that 20hp difference).
