Default Won't start

2013 Ram 1500, 4.7 liter won't turn over.

DAsh lights go out, and all I hear is a click. Mechanic told me it was the battery, so I took my battery in under warranty, it tested bad and got a new one, but still have the same issue.

I've swapped around the relays as well.

Do ALL of the lights go out when you turn the key to start? If so, that's a bad connection somewhere. I would start with the battery terminals.

I tried boosting it with my Volkswagen as well. I would have thought the ground on the other vehicle would have compensated for a bad ground on the truck. Negative terminal on the truck only tightens to a certain point. I can twist it, and pull it off by hand. Maybe I should order a new connector.

That didn't work, so time to check the starter cable, and starter.
Does anyone know what the orange and red 22 gauge wires coming off of the negative terminal are for?

Likely power feeds for some systems. Should be able to find wiring diagrams here.
