just found that the dealer installed the wrong oil filter on my 09, 1500, 5.7 , could this have damage my engine ? no I didnt notice anything weird happening .
If it's been on there for a while, oil pressure has been good, and you aren't hearing any strange noises, then it's all good. There are several filters that will fit, with minor differences between them. No worries.
