Back in 2019, I bought a USB service manual and wiring manual. It required internet access to function. I still have internet but zero access to these USB sticks. Are these worthless now? Anyone know how to open these manuals? When I double click the files, only a page of text code appears.
There aren't any files on the USBs. The info resided on some server, and these USB's were a convenient way of parsing out the requested info, always blocking any printing and or screen capture. The browser could only make the connection and display the info.
The stick only contains about 3Mb of exe file, to access the hidden server.
All in all, the money spent was only a temporary viewing time-share. A real rip-off scam.
