Default P0335

I have a 2011 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi engine. About a month ago I had to slam the brakes on to avoid a accident. Check engine light came and it went into limp mode. I turned the engine off waited a few minutes and turned it back on and it ran fine for a couple days then it did it again after I went over a rough railroad crossing. Threw the P0335 code. Took it to my local shop and they replaced the crankshaft position sensor.
Drove fine until yesterday. Hit the brakes a little hard yesterday and same issue went into limp mode and threw the P0335 code. Shut it off then back on and drove it about two blocks and with out braking it went into limp mode again. Did that a couple times before I got home.
Started it this morning engine running fine but am afraid to drive it.
Any suggestions.
John

Could be a bad sensor, damaged reluctor ring, (unlikely) or maybe even a bad PCM. I know the older trucks generally don't place nice with aftermarket sensors in critical locations.....
