Default 2011 engine swap

My 2011 Ram has 307000 miles on original engine and transmission. It just started missing and ticking. It been a good truck. It still looks good. The interior is still still good. I am just going to put a new engine and transmission in it and a few other upgrades. I figure on spending around 20k . Has anyone ever put an str 392 and an eight speed auto into a Ram 1500. I have located a low mileage (51k) wrecked 2022 str charger as a donor car 7k cost. I could also buy a stroker 5.7 crate engine and still rebuild or buy a reman 5 speed auto. How hard would the srt swap be ? It has been a few years. I have some experience at this . I did several swaps in the 80's and early 90's that required some mods such as a 350 sbc in a Vega. Told you that so I understand it is not going to be easy or cheap.

I think getting the 8 speed to work in your truck might be a real exercise.... (standalone controller??) Crate engine and trans rebuild may end up being less expensive in the long run......

There's just not enough of an aftermarket tuner or Internet forum community for these sort of swaps like there is for the LS or Coyote drop ins. You could easily sort out how to bolt it in and then be tortured by check engine, anti-lock, service 4wd lights on your truck for the next 100 years and be completely on your own.
I'd get a rebuilt long block and swap all the accessories over and never look back.
