Question Tune Up Suggestions - 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi

Hi,
My truck has 160,000 miles on and still runs great! the only thing now it needs a good tune up. I think the last tune up was a little over a year and a half ago. Since I just been keeping the oil changed in it. I was seeking out some suggestions for the tune up. On friday 3/21 I will be dropping it off to the service shop to have them work on it. I made a list off the top of my head and the guy said if everything is done, its about $2500.00 total at the moment until they get it on the machine and see what all needs done....

- Check Oil
- Check Air Filter
- Check Oil Filter
- Battery Check
- Change Spark Plugs
- Anti-freeze
- Belt check
- Raditor Check
- Brakes
- Brake Pads
- Electronic Steering so no Steering Fluid
- Not sure what to list for electrical
- Manifold - Last service the guy talked about a bolt and said it was a defect in the version of these trucks
- I think the previous owner removed the Cats on it, so it is loud when it fires up and driving it
- Check exhaust pipes
- Fix the windshield wiper function, its needs the new black pieces plus the little hose because of ware and tear
- Can it have LED headlights? if so what kind? the service shop guy said its not recommended because some light stays on all the time after the LED lights are installed - right now its just factory and the sealant around the headlights is wearing
- Transmission Fluid
- Transmission Filter
- Check fuel filter
- Engine clean, I think this is some fluid that they put in the engine that cleans it out? not sure...

Thats all I can think of right off the top of my head, suggestions are welcome though, I just want the truck to last as long as it can... I appreciate everyones time in helping me out.

Sounds good. Many of those items are DIY. Not that hard to do and save yourself some money.

Believe me if I were a mechanic or had any kind of instruction, and the right tools I need, I would do quite alot of that on my own. What are the risk though of using LED Headlights on that truck?

My question would be "Why?"..... The lights that are in there do the job just fine. LED's dont really offer any advantages, and can be a right pain in the keester to get 'em to work right with the way headlight systems work, and are monitored by the PCM these days.

i put a set of LED replacement bulbs in my 17 back in 19 and no problems so far, just get a GOOD kit(would suggest staying away from amazon or ebay unless you get a brand name set), and replace all 4 bulbs (high and low). Make sure to check the aim of the headlights after reinstalling the housings in the truck. I wouldnt recommend changing the housings out the plug and play replacement bulbs are easier and safer (easier to swap back if you do end up with a problem)

I do not mind using the OEM lights either, its just I was told using LED's will make it brighter and can see much better at night, even also considering my eyes are not that good in the first place. I have to wear glasses while driving. Also, that sealant around the housing of the headlights is wearing, but I have to admit, its held up since the truck came off the rack. Today, there is alot of condensation within the housing and I think that is just wear and tear overtime. Just want to keep the truck running at its strongest and take care of it... I am sure everyone here understands that piece.
