For starters, what model year is your Ram? Have you checked for voltage to the fog light bulbs and confirmed the ground to them is also good?

Do the switch and instrument cluster indicators illuminate when your switch the fog lights on?

Unless they've greatly changed the function of the switch between the 2014 and the 2016, the fog lights are activated by pushing in the headlight switch (or is it pulling out?), not just by rotating the headlight ****. Factory wiring should only enable the fog/driving lights to work when the low beams are on. I'm pretty sure they won't activate with just parking lights or when the high beams are selected.

Do you have an owner's manual so that you can confirm the proper activation and operation?

Morning Rod
Well if i wasn't such an idiot i could of read the tiny writing on **** that said push...guess what they work lol
i probably inadvertently push them off when i was dusting all the green dust off the dash, never happened in the 7 years I've owned the truck.
Thank you !

Awesome, glad to hear you got it figured out and it's not an issue with the truck. Thank you for following up with what you discovered. Well, maybe not the idiot part.

Hello.. I've got a 2010 Dodge Ram Laramie, and Dodge Charger, that I was able to reset the BCM with by using a bidirectional scan tool. Mine is the ThinkScan 689BT from Amazon. I needed it for the OEM dealership software and didn't want to have to pay a subscription for something just to be able to reprogram an ABS module and mess with some fog lights.

Edit: I was also able to enable the DRL lights.. which are set to disabled by default.
