I need help with my ac. So last fall I replaced the blend door actuator, evaporator and heater core. Had great heat all winter. I had a shop charge my ac about a month ago. A worked good. then I went out of town and the truck sat 3 days. When I got back I took the truck fir a drive. The ac blows defrost and floor vents only now. I dont hear any clicking but I do notice that the blend air doors go thru a cycle of opening and closing when I start the truck. I had shop evacuate the system yesterday so I can take outta dash to get to the mide blend door and hvac box. Is there anything I need to check before I dig into the project again? Should I check vacuum lines? If so where and which ones? Thanks
Are the vents in your truck vacuum, or electrically operated?
When i did the job last time I did not do anything with a vacuum hose. It was all just wires. I ust scanned the truck and got these codes.
B109B - panel mode door 2 control circuit/ performance
B10A0 panel mode door 2 travel range too large
I think the mode door actuator I replaced has failed .
dash vents should be all electric, yes it would appear the actuator or door has stripped/broken. If you didn't replace with aluminum doors, I wouldn't even pull the dash apart until you have a set of aluminum blend doors in hand
