I have a 2009 dodge ram and everytime i drive it, it shuts off while im driving. I started doing it once a week then it started doing it every other day. I tried to read the codes and it only has a lose fuel cap code and a small evap leak code. So im not sure if it could be a sensor liek the crankshaft senor or if its a ignition problem has anyone had this problem?

 

Will it start right back up? Or do you have to wait for a bit?

 

yeah it starts right back up but then sometimes it keep runnning without shutting off and then sometimes it just shuts off as soon as i turn it back on.

 

That's gonna be a fun one to figure out........ Way too many possibilities to list.... First though, I think I would go thru and check EVERY electrical connector under the hood....

 

The fuel pump on my 2009 went out last month @ 232K mi.
It stuttered a few times prior to that. No CEL.
