2015 Ram cummins complete shut down
This happened a few months ago. I have a 2015 ram 2500 6.7 Cummins Laramie Trim. I took it through an automatic carwash to get it cleaned up, everything was fine. Parked it in the lot and dried it off and vacuumed. When I sat back in the truck to start it, the screen lit up and then everything shut down. There was absolutely no power. The lights wouldnt turn on, the accessory and run wouldnt turn on. Doors wouldnt lock or unlock. The interior lights stayed on for a minute but then they turned off. I opened the hood and didn't see any visual issues, and I don't remember if there was anything super wet. Long story short after trying to get it to work I had to put in neutral, push it out and get it towed to the dealer. Once it was there they couldn't get it off the truck, so I asked for a wrench, popped the hood and disconnected both batteries. Waited about 10 seconds then reconnected, and it started like nothing had happened. Drove it off the truck and into the shop to get it checked out, and after running diagnostics and everything, they found absolutely nothing. No codes, no errors, nothing. Kind of a sketchy issue because if this were to have happen in the middle of no where could have been a bigger problem. It seems like resetting the electrical system by dc the batteries may have fixed it. Since then I haven't had that issue again, its never done that in the pouring rain or even in the extreme cold and blizzards which I have driven it through. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else or if anyone knows what it could be.

Disconnecting batteries would have cleared any codes. Given the total lack of power though, I would expect bad connections at the battery.... Disconnecting and reconnecting likely solved that.

When I checked under the hood initially the first thing I checked were both batteries and the connections were fine. I doubt I would have been able to read a code anyway since there was zero power to the whole truck
Need to test with a meter, and see if you are actually getting voltage across the battery terminals when nothing else has power.
