Service for wheel drive code keeps being displayed on my display along with the traction light. Unable to determine what is the cause. After shutting off the engine and restarting, the displays will disappear for a period of time. Period. Then randomly they appear again what could be the cause?

You need a scanner to read the codes. Then you will know.

And the scan tool will need to be able to read the ABS/traction control systems. Many of the consumer-grade units are only able to access the Powertrain diagnostic codes, so if you're planning to buy a scan tool to help troubleshoot this, make sure it's able to access the necessary systems. AlfaOBD is a rather affordable option if you only plan to use this with Fiat Chrysler vehicles.

Also, you don't mention any details on your Ram. If it's a 2018 or newer it will have a Secure Gateway (SGW) module that will require either an AutoAuth subscription or a bypass cable in order to access many of the non-generic codes/systems. Without having access to the diagnostic codes you're going to be left with either a careful inspection of components and wiring, shot-gunning parts (wheel speed sensors, bearings, modules, wiring), using other expensive equipment (oscilloscopes, wiring diagrams), or finding someone with the appropriate scan tool and having them pull the codes. Some auto parts stores may now have scan tools that can access the ABS/traction control systems so you may want to call around.
