After market wheel offset?
How do I know what the wheel offset should be.
Putting on 20 x 9 KMC XD Badlands with a 35" x 12.5 tire.
Ive read on Offset and back spacing and it all makes sense. Just not sure what offset I want, need or will work.
Any help here is appreciated.

I assume you have a either a level kit or a lift? With a level kit you want the +18 and with the lift you want the -12. I looked into those wheels for a level kit and 35's but was nervous they would rub too much. I know from what others have done you can run xd addicts and 35's and get away with a little rub, but I think the addicts have less backspacing...soo, maybe someone can chime in with more definitive help on fitment.
-12 will stick out like crazy and probably rub your fenders btw.

1 and1/2" leveling kit and a 3" body lift. I had to call the guy who ordered them for me becuase he never Told me what offset he ordered. He ordered me a -12mm and said that's what I needed. Tires are 35 x 12.5 but they measure at 34.6. Just wanted to make sure and see what others are running.
You will be fine with that. I have 20" XD addicts and 35" trail grapplers, on a QC TRX4 with no lift or level. Fits good, only slight rub at full left crank. TRX4 is 3/4 in higher in front then other models tho. good luck.
I just got a 2" leveling kit on the front of my 4x4 SLT, and put 35" Duratracs on my truck. I used a -12 offset wheel and I have no rubbing what so ever, even with speed bumps, curves, etc.
The tires do stick out about 1 1/2" with the -12 offset though.

No, it's not really "bad," I kind of like the way they look too, but I do plan on getting some fender flares now, painted to match my truck, just to protect the paint when I take it off the pavement.
Hey big horn 4 life. Do you happen to have pics of your truck with those rims and tires on. I am looking at a set of rims that are 20 by 10 and have a -25 offset. Just wondering if that will work on my truck with a leveling kit?
