Default performance package

What is the "Performance Package" on a 2000 Ram Van B3500?

Somehow "performance" and "1 ton Van" really don't go together.

I can't find anything definitive on what it may have consisted of.....

I was trying to find the right Monroe Gas Magnum shocks on Rock Auto for my 00 B3500 van and the choices included with and without "Performance package." Couldn't find anything like that mentioned in my Service Manual.

Are you sure you were looking at the correct vehicle? I checked in the shocks section on RA for a 2000 B3500 van and there was "w/o Recreational Package", but nothing about any "Performance Package".

Pull a build sheet, and see what it has to say.

Yep, all I see is "recreational package".

Thanks all. Well, turns out I'm an idiot writing my first thread. It was a recreational package I was trying to find out about not a performance package. Went to O'Reilly's today and asked for Monroe Gas Magnum shocks for my van and found out that the recreational package is for the Roadtrek which I have. They wanted over $500 for four shocks. Going to get the same thing on Amazon for $165. I'd much rather buy from my local auto parts store but can't justify paying an extra $335 to do that. Thanks for the comments and help. I'm new here, just bought the 2000 Dodge based Roadtrek. First Chrysler product since my 1958 Plymouth Suburban wagon back in the '60's.

Some trivia, did you know that all V-8 1953 Dodges (we had one) had a 241 Hemi? Sorta more advanced than Chevy and Ford.
