Default What did you do to your 5th Gen today?

Well,
I didn't see this thread on here so I figured I would start it...What did I do with 5th gen today. I put a deposit down on it. I pick her up Sunday. Sunday I will be the proud owner of a 2019 Laramie 4x4. By the time I was done with the dealer it was past closing time and so I go back onSunday to complete everthing. Here is a picture of what I am bringing home and will join the pack. I already have a 2nd gen 96 and 3rd Gen 04.....

spent 3 1/2 days under the truck replacing the exhaust manifolds for BBK shorty headers.....had 3 broken bolts, 2 had to be extracted by welding the nut to the stud and one was just a vice grip away. Glad I did it, but man oh man, this was not easy and took a lot of patience.....

I always hated working on exhaust..... they are invariably rusty, and reluctant in the extreme to come apart.... Add living in Michigan on top of that..... Well, you get the idea. I PAID someone to install the headers on my truck. Glad I did too. Whoever did the initial install couldn't tell the difference between standard and metric fasteners.... so they used BOTH on the headers.... Needless to say, the threads in the head were pretty trashed...... The guy that did it though, did an excellent job. Several years later, still no leaks. What I found funny though, was the cheap chineseium 'stainless steel' headers, rusted out.....

Has anyone had an issue with the tailgate sticking...If so, what did you use to get the pads from becoming sticky and holding the gate fro opening?
