Default Somebody put diesel in my gas ram 1500 classic

So my buddy put diesel in my gas engine 2021 dodge ram 1500 classic drove it about 10 kms before I realized now it’s at the dealership they drained the tank and fuel lines flushed it with gas now it’s misfiring .they changed 4 spark plugs that didn’t do anything so tomorrow they are going to change #7 cylinder deactivation solenoid because they are getting a P0307 code is this going to stop the misfire or am I gonna be out $250 for the part and labour ? Does anybody know what will stop the misfire ? Please help

Why did they only change four spark plugs? Aren't there 16 of them fellers in there?

The code is for misfire on number 7. Why would they change a solenoid that isn't setting a code???

. It’s setting off a code for #7 A P0307 code meaning misfire on 7 7 is dead because of the eco boost so the are hoping it’s the cylinder deactivation solenoid…I know nothing I’m just looking for different opinions

How did they determine it was the solenoid? Generally, if it is a solenoid failure, the PCM will set a code for the solenoid......

I don’t know they are saying the #7 cylinder is dead now they are gonna try to change the cylinder deactivation solenoid to see if that fixes the misfire…..what else could it be …. Is my engine ****ed?

How did he manage to put diesel into a gasoline filler neck? The nozzle is made too large to fit. Unless you've knocked the restrictor out so you can put leaded fuel into it. It's been a while since I had an oil burner but I think the filler pipe is twice as large on most diesel pumps. Even bigger for OTR trucks to fill faster on large purchases.

Did the mds system engage when you were driving it? If it did the diesel MAY have clogged it. They cleaned the tank/fuel lines but what about the motor? Brake clean in all cylinders and crank the motor till it's as clean as you can get it. ALL new plugs I would think.
Is my engine ****ed?
It shouldn't be but not getting a lot of useful info to go on.
