SOLD! 99 Ram 1500 5.9L 4x4 quad cab, 6" Skyjacker, 35k miles
Hah, this thread is still open...
LOL... You traded it in didn't you? I sure hope so. That way the dealer could take it in the pooper (instead of you) when he tries to sell it or winds up taking it to auction and loses his **** on it.
It's almost 2 years later, and guess what... Your truck would be worth significantly LESS than my original estimate due the the seriously BROKEN economy. Sorry, but I can buy a NICE 1998.5 - 2002 Dodge Ram 2500HD DIESEL 4x4, fully loaded, all the options, and built to the nines for between $8,500 and $15,000. Again, depending on condition and options. Blue book values are a joke. Especially those found on the internet. Real world pricing is where I come up with my numbers. The only "internet blue book" that is even remotely worth a darn is: www.edmunds.com True Market Value. Give 'em a try sometime.
I wouldn't have DREAMT of giving over $8,500 for your truck - ever. And, that high of an offer was only because you put so much money and time into it.
A 1999 1500 Ram 4x4 is worth about $3,000 - $6,000 on today's market, soley based upon it's condition.
I'll never understand why guys build up 1/2 ton trucks.
