98 Neon R/T for sale ***SOLD***
I have a 98 neon R/T for sale. You can see a pic of it in my gallery. It does have some body damage on the passenger side (which you can't see in the pic). If you are interested plesae PM me or email me. I can send you more pics or answer any questions. As far as the price goes I was thinking something like $800 (as it does run very well) but I would be open to consider any offer, even a trade for something(edge juice w/ attitude for a cummins 610 series - hinthint)would be ok.

-Yes it is a 5spd (I think all R/Ts were??)
-Yes the head gasket was replaced allready. I bought the car in 2002 with a blown motor. The original owneris a good friend of mine and trust me the way he drives (old man baby style) it was blown by a freak chance. Anywaythe 3 year warranty had just run outand seeing how heis not mechanically inclined at all he sold it to me at a very resonable price. I bought a new motor (DOHC out of an automatic neon, so I know it wasen't abused) and dropped it in her myself No probs at all with the motor swap, it took me all of about 3 days to do it too!!(gotta love neons). After that the headgasket blew, which I found out is relatively normal, the engine had about 50,000 miles on it at that point. Since then not a single problem with her.
-The car has about140,000which means theengine would have about 80,000.
-I am in Alton Illinois, 62002 (really close to St.Louis MO.)

free bump for a nice little car. i just bought a 'cheap' vehicle, but if i had the extra cash right now i would soooo take you up on it.

it might be helpful if you posted up some pics of the damage, curious how bad it is... my curiosity about the car has been eating at me since i last posted. might be a nice little fix-and-sell
