Default Feeler Thread 04 ram part out

Sat or Sun i am having a 04 ram brought to the house. I am going to be parting it out cause it has been wrecked. What I know about the truck.

Friend of mine bought it in Nov-Dec of 2004. In Feb-March of 05 his girl friend slid sideways in to a pole and has been sitting since. It has under 20k on the clock. It is 1500 4 door, 4x4, black out with grey interior, Hemi engine. I will have the title. I would say the frame is bent. All the air bags went off. It has been wraped in bisqueen to keep it dry on the inside. We will have to see what the interior looks like. I haven't seen the truck. It is going to be brought to me tommorrow or Sunday.

What i don't know is exact mileage, extent of the damage and of salvageable parts. I don't know if it is a sport or not.

What do you think of the engine, transmission, and tcase sitting for 3 years? is it worth anything? Let me know what you think about it and if your looking for something in particular. I will post up pics when i get it and go over what i know about it.

Central Arkansas

Yeah. I ain't going to mess with the shop yet. I am going to look over it and see if i can get it running. I was trying to go over in my head what i need to do with an engine that has been sitting that long. I will probably remove the gas tank. change the oil and see if it will turn over by hand.

yeah, check all fluid levels maybe? see if the brakes are still good. any part of the truck that is still in tact is $$. someone ALWAYS is looking for that part. ebay is a good solution!! lol.

That what i am thinking. I am figuring that the headlights, tail lights, grille, maybe bumpers and interior parts are still intact. I will find out tommorrow and post up pics and my findings. Going to see if i can get it running before listing it.

Central Arkansas. Willing to ship or drive to meet half way all the way to the edge of the state which ever is less.
