I traded in my 2001 dodge truck and have the hypertech III programer 50006 that I would like to offer for sale here before I put it on ebay. The truck was programmed back to stock when I traded it in. If you would like to make me an offer that would be great. I have not seen one on ebay in a while so please make an offer. If I canget at least 150.00 for itI won't bother putting it on ebay. First 150.00 offer gets it. I will consder other offers if they are not 150.00. I hope someone can get some use out of it still. I thought the hypertech was locked to your computer/VIN. Is that incorrect?

If you set it to return your truck back to stock you can use it on another truck. You just can't program your truck and leave it programed then program another truck. You can only do one at a time so it's locked to your vin until you set it back to stock. I bought a used one and it works fine. You just have to make sure the previous owner set it back to stock.
