This was purchased for my 2005 CTD 6spd manual truck that I traded.

The new exhaust brake utilizes updated power train software to maximize torque converter lockup performance and to protect the Dodge Ram 48RE automatic transmission, and eliminates the need for an external lockup box. This results in up to 170 retarding horsepower to provide enhanced vehicle control and increased service brake life.
