Default Wanted 4.7 for 2001 Durango( asap)

Thought I had a blown heads gasket, but turned out worse than expected, when motor was broke down.. Had two valve seats come out and and one valve kiss the piston. So instead of putting $$$ into the heads and chancing the piston, looking for another motor to drop in so truck can get back on road. I am located in Columbus GA and willing to travel to pick up good motor.

My durango, is and 01 and has the 16 tooth tone ring, so want one with same, to save time and trouble of swapping...

Will travel 150-175 mile radius of Columbus GA 31909 for good motor. Will purchase or do have mustang/ford parts I can trade,,

Have a built AOD trans with good converter,
347 stroker motor with 3k miles, but needs block,
ported TFS twisted Wedge heads, ( w/ flow sheets and speces),

If interested in trade for the mustang parts email me for details and pictures....

Also Email me pictures and price if you have a motor....

mike84lx@knology.net

Please email for quicker response...

I second your motion for a new, or slightly new motor (4.7) for my durango. Where is the tone ring, and how many teeth should it have??

Tone rings are on the crank and P-side cam... I need the ones with 16 tooth count.
