I have a 1996 Dakota that I'm parting out.
The engine as a new timing chain and distributor and runs GREAT..
The front bumper has rust spots on it, but can be grind down and painted.
The fenders, hood and windshield are not for sale.
It has a bench seat, no tears, in nice shape. The Passenger's side door looks good.
The drivers side door is for blue SLT
The rear window is a sliding glass window.
The rims are in good shape.
The ECU is in good shape and in tact.
The Trans is good and shifts smooth
Rear axle is free of leaks.
Grill is in good shape, no cracks, paint still looks decent.

I'd like to sell the engine before parting the rest of the truck, as it's a good running truck.
I would like
$400 for the engine
$150 for the ECU
or $600 for the engine with ecu and harness.
(the AC compressor is bad I think)..
Or I will take $1000.00 for the whole truck.
It's located in Bartlett, TN (just outside of Memphis..)

What is the Part number on the ECU?

 

Not sure, but I did make a mistake, it's from a 96, so its ODBCII..
I'll check the number when I get home..
My internet at home has been down since Saturday, so I won't be able to post it up until tomorrow.

 

I'll get that ECU number in a little while.. I'm watching O'Reillly right now, and that's more important than money.. .. hahaha..

I don't know what brand they are.. They sound better than stock..
I really need to get on the ball with taking parts off of this truck..
