Default DMH Exhaust Cutout

I am selling a 3" electric exhaust cutout made by DMH. I paid $199 for this brand new. I ran this cutout on my truck for about 4 months but decided to have it removed because it was just too loud for me. The cutout comes with the motor attached. It will not come with the wiring and switch though due to the fact it is hardwired into my dashboard. You will just need to purchase a generic positive/negative wire and a momentary switch to activate/deactivate the butterfly valve.

I am looking for $95 including shipping.

I am not going to take out the wiring and then have a whole in the middle of my dash, that would look terrible. For me to even get the wiring out I would have to take apart my dashboard as well. The wiring is not complicated at all, nor is the switch, it's just a momentary switch.

Where is the switch mounted? Your right about is beign a momentary switch but the prob is finding one thats a double rocker and wont stay in either position but at a "rest" position. I know because I tried finding one at one time and looked everywhere including ebay. Im just trying to help you out bro. Lets keep it civil....... ;-)

Finding a switch to work with this cutout is harder that you think. You should really remove it and include it with the sale. If you are worried about the hole, why not just put another dead switch in the hole after you pull out the cutout switch. A dead switch looks bad no matter what, might as well get some money out of the one you have.

yup wont work without the switch weed is correct.
buddie had this same problem DMH has a special switch you cant find anywhere.
face it to sell the cut out you need the switch, or your going to get a pissed off buyer when he gets it.
IMO just go get a switch you like and put it in place of the one that came with the kit.

The wiring costs $25 shipped for the cut-out. I will sell the cut-out including shipping for $95. The person who buys it will just need to buy the wiring through DMH. This will total to $120. That's $80 cheaper than what I paid for this brand new, that is a deal. The amount of time and hassle it will be for me to take apart my dash, snake the wiring out, and then go to a hardware store to find a switch that would mount where the old one was is not worth gaining the extra $25 of value in wire.

My final asking price will be $95 shipped for the cutout. You will have to purchase the wire/switch through DMH seperately for an additional $25.
