2002 Dakota w/ Viper trans, etc for Sale
Okay everyone, I need your help in selling my truck. I was putting together a 2002 truck with all the viper parts I had, like the transmission, brakes, seats, etc installed. Recently I changed jobs and now find myself with no place to work on it, nor any need for a highly modified, lowered Dakota. I've put it up on ebay, so I would appreciate anyone crossposting this to as many places as possible.

Thanks everyone!

what is the reserve?? and why did you bolt a viper tranny to a stock 4.7? did you have to adapt the bell housing?

Well, the 5-speed manuals in the dakota's are weak. On my '97 dakota, I went through 4 stock trannies (no joke), so on the '02, I decided I wanted something that wouldn't break when I started beefing up the engine. I had to modify a bellhousing to get it all to work together. I was building the mechanicals up before I added horsepower.

Didn't sell, so Parts are now available.
Well, it didn't sell, so I'm going to keep it, but I will have to return it to stock height and take off some of the goodies.
First things to sell would be the body kit (not including the hood unless you are local and already have a charcoal grey one). Second would be the Hotchkis coils, leafs and shocks. I'll be keeping the sway bars from that. Then, I'll be parting with the seats. Don't really need good buckets to hold me in place during cornering anymore.
I'll also be having a '97 Dak reg cab for sale too. It's red, with a 5.2L, 5-speed, and it's mostly stock. The engine has about 55K on it (was swapped in), the trans, driveshaft and rear end originally came out of the Grey truck I just tried to sell, so they have about 35K on them. Light mods: Mopar headers, MSD6A, viper electric fan conversion. Good truck, but I just don't need two of them!
If anyone's interested, email me at gapinkley AT gmail DOT com.

Well, I'll have to think on the seats. The caveat with them is I don't have the stock seats to drop back in place, so I can't remove them, lest the truck becomes immobile. I'm going to try to sell it whole one more time for $13500 first on autotrader. I don't really have the time (nor the spare cash) to take this truck and return it to stock, unfortunately.
