i need to get rid of my truck. i'm looking for something smaller like a dakota or s-10. needs to be v6 4x4 and manual trans. i'm not looking for something perfect but i am looking for something that is road ready since mine is. it needs a little work but i wouldnt hesitate to drive it anywhere. i also have lots of parts that will come with it for a little extra $.

ac is there but does not work at this point
31x10.50x15 bfgoodrich all terrains with decent tread left
rear brakes and all related hardware less than a year old
parking brake cables have been replaced with used parts due to the old ones being rusted up

only issues are:
needs oil pan- previous owner screwed up the drain plug and i cant get it out. i've dropped the pan to change the oil since i dont have the $ for a new pan right now.

needs u-joints replaced in the front axle- i have them but havent had a chance to put them in

runs a bit rich because of an exhaust leak at the manifolds

needs valve seals so it smokes a bit when you start it or when it's idling for a while

has a small power steering leak which i'm gonna try to get fixed this weekend

for the right price i'll throw in everything i have for it which is:

brand new set of longtube headers still in the box with all hardware- i only took them out to ake sure everything was in the box

new in box oil pump, pan gasket, pick up tube

new in box u-joints for the front axle and front driveshaft, inner and outer wheel bearings

3.23:1 lsd rear end from a 85 ram charger complete from drum to drum except for 1 or 2 of the springs. only needs the pinion seal replaced but i should have one- the truck currently has an open rear in it. unsure of gear ratio

haynes manual

maybe a few other things. cant remember exactly what else i have for it

truck has current va state inspection

i'm looking to trade for a late 80's or early to mid 90's s-10 or dakota. must be v6 4x4 and mtx. body condition doesnt matter too much as long as its fairly solid

91-96 dakota v6 4x4 with manual trans

87-up jeep cherokee must be v6 must be manual trans

90-up jeep wrangler must be manual trans

86-up isuzu trooper any engine, manual trans- 86 turbo diesel would be awesome but they're pretty rare

all trades need to be drivable since my truck is driven almost every day. i dont care too much about what trades look like as long as they're not falling apart. my truck does have some rust in the bed but it's nothing unusual for an old truck like this


i will take trades that don't run/drive but you will have to put up some cash

$1300 any less and i'll let it rot in my back yard. truck has just over 148k miles, runs and drives great, and comes with almost everything it needs to be repaired plus some extras
