It'll work for any truck with the Chrysler 9.25" axle regardless of whether you have a Dakota or a Ram. Check your glove box sticker. It'll be either 8.25" round (I think 10-bolt) axle differential housing or a 9.25" octagonal 12-bolt housing.

 

9.25" will be a 12 bolt octagon housing.

What gear ratio's is this designed to work for?

 

2:92's to 4:56's I believe. It's the same as any other standard sized carrier.
