It's just a $0.10cent resitor inline. Most are 3.3kohm resistors. It fools the computer into thinking the air temperature is cooler than what it is and dumps more gas into the intake making your truck run rich and alters timing. Since the computer adapts to conditions, it almost makes the mod useless which why gains are minimal. You get what you pay for. HP is never FREE.
Rockets are just conveniently made up is all. it's just a few bucks in materials and some time. Anyone can make them.
I vaguely remember metering my sensor from 1.1k-5.6k(higher resistance means colder temps)?? It was a big swing though.

I'm using the 4.7 k resistor. It gives it a kick that wasn't there before. That said, Yes I'm selling pure convenience.
