I had one originally on my 2001 Ram with the 5.9L V8, and it was pretty nice. $225 is cheaper than you can get a new one for, and cheaper than you can get the SCT for (thats about $265). On top of that, it can correct your speedo for most vehicles to correct for smaller or larger tires, which the SCT cannot do. Pretty nice deal.

is there a difference between the 3815 and the 3865?

 

As far as i have read, the size of the tuner itself is smaller with a larger size. Same tunes available for each one.
