the price has gone up to 3 grand , u got competition a guy ive known for years wanted the car since i picked it up.offerd 2900 since he found out its for sale. its a 1988 dodge daytona shelby Z with the turbo II engine, 88k on it, t tops, electric blue, power seats and windows, rebuilt turbo if i still got the recipt to prove it, i never planed on selling the car. good working condition, does smoke a a lil but what do u expect its a turbo dodge. runs strong has been sitting for about a year since i got my new car. its been under two tarps with mothballs inside to cut down on mice and moisture. i need to change the oil before i start it up. ran great last time i drove it but its been sitting so ill tell u of any other problems that have occured. and if this joker doesnt come up with the money in a couple weeks the price will go back down. and the more and more i look at the pictures i want to rebuild it back to perfect but i have a new car and no money for the both of them.. ill work on scaning the pictures if u reply to this. umm the car is in CT quite aways from u i think ur in ohio, so shipping would be horrible, but its a rare car and i enjoy having it the prduction number on mine is around 2,000. last time i check when i was nuts about these cars. if i remember correctly. and u pay shipping obviously the car isnt registered. and i wouldnt recomend driving it to ohio its been sitting and i have no clue if it is still in the shape it was in when i stored it. **** happens, i started it up like 6 months ago and it seemed fine backed it up and went foward clutch is great tranny is smooth. its all oringinal, crab rims. leather interior and i cant think of ne thing else to say about it the euro sport sterring wheel from the factory, im sure i can think of acouple more things im forgeting, 2 3/4 wxhaust from factory if i remember i could be totally wrong on that one but i know its smaller near the header then it widens out. oh and the head lights dont go up and down what a shock. u can do them manuel but i leave them up. so ill work on the pictures

ok, heres the deal. $2500 and its yours. i didnt think it would get this kinda attention to the car, i just want what i paid for the car which was 2 grand plus the rebuilt turbo, which was $500. the other guy still says he has the the money but he wont have it till november. i know i said 2 grand originaly but i underpriced it in my mind and frankly i dont need the money all that bad i can always use a 4 cyl and a good looking car. so i think 2500 to a fellow dodge daytona lover is a fair deal. i only have one picture that i can get a hold of, so i will post it as soon as u reply to this and tell me what u think of the price. im sure u can find another one for a cheaper price, but im telling u it wont have the options this car has. and one other thing jsut to let u know of i forgot to tell u as i looked at it today theres acouple of rips in the driver seat on the leather other than that the leather is perfect the other three seats. so let me know what u think of the deal. and ill hold it till the end of november with no down payments. i can always take more pictures and develop them if u want to see the engine and interior and other angles. its good for me to so i can remember her.

 

Thing is, I always wanted a Daytona, and when I read up on the Shelby Z's, I fell in love. $2500 for a car I cannot find for sale around here seems fair enough, and all the normal turbo's are going for that price too...
