I have a used but in super condition 2007 OEM REC navigation/6 disk changer for sale. Part # 05064184AF It has the navigation disk with it and has sirius radio input, all buttons work, and the screen is in perfect condition. I will take 350 shipped to lower 48 with insurance and tracking. These are going for 500+ on ebay and 2,000 new.

How hard would that unit be to hook up to an 05 Dakota? (if even possible)
According to factorychryslerparts.com it will work on 05-07 Dakotas as well.

As long as it's a low speed system, which I believe the 07 & 08 Rams are, it could be installed in your Dakota. There are a few other parts needed, as well as modifying the radio bezel, but search in the 3rd Gen Dakota section to see what exactly was needed for the install.
But for sure a low speed system is necessary for the Dakota.

This REC unit is the low speed can-bus, not exactly sure what the 05 Dakota's are but i did some research and it seems it has the low speed system.
