Default 2nd Gen Offroad Edition Axles and misc

Factory half ton axles from 2000 Dodge Quad Cab with Offroad Edition (ORE) axles.

Front is Dana44, open differential.
Differential housing has extra flange thickness from the factory per the ORE.
Gear ratio is factory 4.10s.
Axle is complete and is hub to hub. Dual piston brake calipers!
New axleshaft ujoints, ball joints, unit bearings, tie rod, and drag link installed Fall 2011.
Original unit bearings available as spares, nothing wrong with them.
New rotors and pads Fall 2013.
Central axle disconnect (CAD) is in working order.
Stabilizer mount removed.
Factory Upper Control arms included.

Sweetners
Lower Control arms are custom dual adjustable 2"x0.25" square tube. Set your caster with ease as well as push axle forward for lift for recentering properly.
Skyjacker 5" springs included!!
2.5" Spacer included!!
Upper frame bracket modified to accommodate better position of control arm for lift, however, factory location is untouched. Mod can be removed.

Rear is Chrysler 9.25 with limited slip (rebuilt by Folsom Dodge April 2009).
Gear ratio is factory 4.10s.
Axle is complete and drum to drum.
New wheel cylinders Summer 2013.
New pads and hardware Spring 2014.

Pricing is for both axles as described. Axles are available.

These are bolt on for 00-02 2nd Gen Ram 1500s. 94-99 just need slightly bigger bolts for the control arms.

These do not need any servicing. These came off a daily driver that also saw trails. Find my build thread and videos. These were never thrashed on. They are the best upgrade to and 2nd Gen Half Ton truck, especially if you are towing.

Shipping is negotiable, but on Buyer responsibility. If you are local, then most likely no shipping cost...

The upper arm shown is the one to be used as the lower. It started out in the lower factory arm position and then moved up for the lift setup shown.

This is the capability of the setup if there was interest to this degree. Otherwise, they retain all factory setup and can go in with no changes.

Cheaper than a shop gear change! Last run was July 18, 2014 for axle change to 1 tons.

Thanks dude. It's OBO. Also I have a buddy in shipping. I'll be getting some estimates this week for the heck of it. They will have to be put on a pallet, so forklift would be needed, but he'd do whatever was possible to minimize cost.

I'd love to make the swap, and need new seals anyway, but shipping maybe be prohibitive. Any idea what it may cost to ship to 37055?

I've given my shipper 2 zip codes to provide quotes and expecting to hear back today.

Forklift service will be needed and the axles will need to be in a crate or pallet. There will be some options. Most definitely need a pickup truck to collect this pair.

Ok, my shipper is not that viable for this unfortunately. He only has various warehouses to work with and has to ping them. I got shipping cost that includes handling and forklift usage to drop into a pickup roughly equal to cost of the axles themselves.

However, this doesn't mean all shippers cost that much as I've come across private haulers for far less. The only thing is whether their route will eventually come by me and head your way. It's all about timing and getting loads that are in the general direction.

For serious inquiries, I recommend you find a local board/contact that has haulers running around. That way you get to establish exact cost and timeframe. On my end it's just holding with a reasonable deposit, like say 25% (negotiable).

Holidays are coming up and perhaps a candidate buyer has family/friends coming your way with a means to carry them.
