i cant believe your selling........ but yea i agree with tani get a second gen. we all know that it looks better. (even the third gen owners know, deep down)

sure tani if you want you can.. i dont have an account over there.. i was looking at a 2nd gen tonight.. but they wanted close to 22,000 for it.. after taxes and all it was up around 24,000. im looking to sell it for atleast 11 hopefully.. i dont really know to much about diesels but i've heard that 12 valve cummins are better then 24 valve.. is that true?? i love my truck and i love how it looks.. but i would love a 12 second diesel also

I have also read that the 12's are better than the 24's

Didn't Cummins designed the 24V to pass the impending diesel emissions standards? IIRC, it took a real hit in the mileage department. Don't know if the standards were ever actually put in place though.

Wasn't that big of a hit, but a hit nonetheless. Yes I do believe the change was due to emission issues. Also, if you want a 12valve you gotta go pre 98.5 and good luck finding one that's in really good shape (like what Kyle's looking for). I'd say get a 3rd gen simply because of the common rail setup which gets big power quick!

Actually, I dont' recommend a dodge at all, but for the sake of the forum...
