Speaker Install Help

Default Speaker Install Help

I have a 200 durango with 6 speakers and i need help installing Infinity 60.7cs speaker in the front doors.

how do i install the wires to this. I thought it was easy but i only have 2 wires inside the door. 1 from the tweeter and 1 going to the speaker. thanks in advance.

And do i even need the crossover?

What do you mean you only have 2 wires? There should be 2 SETS of wires. a + and a - for each speaker. And yes you need the crossover, unless you wanna blow that tweeter real quick

Thats what I ment, but there are 3 inputs to put things on the crossover. I know the one on the right is the tweeter. How do i connect the other 2?

Ok I think I got this.
The "in" input is the original woofer wires
The "wf" input goes to the new woofer
The "tw" goes to the tweeter
Is that right.

Also what guage of speaker wire should I get?

Do you have an external amp ??? No amp any normal speaker wire is OK, higher powered amp need larger wire

but yes input the wires from the head unit to the in then the outputs split up the way you state

Got them installed and they sound fantastic. Again thanks for the help everyone that replied. Now I need to buy some infinity 62.7i to replace the rears.
