2003 Durango Dash removal
Hello all. I am a newbie here but just bought a 2003 Durango and am trying to fiure out how to get to the rear of the stock radio so I can install a wired FM modulator for my satellite radio.
How do I get to it? I can't seem to find anyway to remove the dash and it looks like one massive piece, not just a piece around the stereo.
Thanks in advance for anyone that has some advice for me here.

Yeah, they're easy, but you do need to remove quite a bit.
First off, remove the screws from the very bottom of the panel under the steering column. Right above your feet. They are T20 torx bits I believe. Now unsnap that whole panel and remove it.
Now, take 3 more srews out of the bottom of the plastic shroud that surrounds the steering shaft. Once you get the out you should be able to remove the TOP half of that shround.
Once you get that off, remove 2 screws (phillips) from the top of the instrument panel. They are right above the gauges.
Now you should be able to remove the whole panel that goes around the gauges and radio.
Then just take the 4 screws out of the radio and remove it. Hope this helps ya out. Let me/us know if you have any problems.
